Foundation Award

We have established the Systems Biology Foundation Award to recognize exceptional contributions to the systems biology field. The award winner was selected by a committee comprised of the five conference co-chairs of FOSBE 2009 and the two chairs of the previous FOSBE meetings. We are pleased to announce that the first winner of the FOSBE Systems Biology Foundation Award is Prof. Doug Lauffenburger of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prof. Lauffenburger will be honored at the banquet the final night of the conference.
